"El hotel bonito . Bastante céntrico , la atención muy buena y servicial. No recuerdo su nombre pero el Bartender del hotel súper agradable. Mi estancia fue muy agradable se los recomiendo"
"The hotel is right on road by the Sardinero beach, but a bit off the beaten track for major sightseeing sites and restaurants. If you love to look at and walk along the seaside, this is a great place for you. If you want to be in the heart of the action, this might seem too far away from those areas.
Our room was small but adequate, and it was acceptably clean. We found the beds comfortable and the street was quiet enough late in the evening to have the window open for sea breeze and wave sounds (we visited early in the season, so this may not be true in summer!).
The restaurant was surprisingly good and with excellent service. The front desk staff seemed confused by their computer system, making check in and check out leisurely, but they were also very accommodating and helpful in suggesting parking options and places to go.
Overall, a good experience and very good value for the price."
"A great hotel with helpful staff. Good location from which to explore the beach and headland. There is parking available but there is also plenty of street parking right outside the hotel (at least there is in mid-April). Would highly recommend. "
"I had a very disappointing experience.
I specifically booked and paid an additional €25 for an upgraded room, but upon arrival, I was given a standard room with separate beds—the most basic option listed on Expedia. This was already frustrating, as it did not match what I had paid for.
The situation became worse with the air conditioning, which was not functioning properly. Instead of cooling the room, it was mostly blowing hot air, making the environment very uncomfortable. As a result, I had no choice but to open the window.
The hotel is located in a very central area(this is why I choose it), with a bar and restaurant nearby. Since it was a Friday night, the noise levels were extremely high, and I was unable to rest at all.
Additionally, the overall maintenance condition of the hotel is far below the NH standard I am accustomed to, which made the experience even more disappointing.
I was only stopping over while traveling by car, hoping for a good night’s rest, but this turned into a complete nightmare. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations and was very disappointing."
"Have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. The location is perfect just a short walk to the main area of Sardinero and the beach. The food is amazing. Having tried most restaurants in the area, this is by far the best food. Rooms are very clean. My one criticism is that the rooms are a bit plain and outdated, especially the bathrooms. Nevertheless a very nice place to stay if visiting Santander"
