"First of all, we were so impressed by the family that runs this hotel. Canโt thank, Katrina, Martina, Fabio, Aurelio, the women who keep the place clean & the two lovely young men at the onsite restaurant. Itโs so impressive observing all the above-mentioned staff work together so closely to ensure we as guests, have a phenomenal stay. Although, this hotel is quite a walk from Tropea & can be slightly dangerous as there are no sidewalks, for a surcharge they have a shuttle. However, if the weather was cooler & not 31 Celsius each day, it is doable. Also, a train operates on the back of the property but it wasnโt as annoying as we initially thought it would be. The La Laconda restaurant onsite has an extensive menu and everything is freshly cooked. Breakfast each morning was the same but it was all freshly cooked & baked onsite. Please note, we did notice, that if you request eggs prepared any way you like, they will cook it for you. Our only drawback to this place was the fact you canโt store any bought water or drinks in the mini fridge. We found that quite odd. They do provide drinks, pop & water for a cost but unfortunately, it wasnโt what we normally enjoy. Be aware that if you are a non smoker, guests smoke on the balconies. This was quite frustrating for us as we tried to enjoy drinks & lunches on our balcony which had impeccable views of the sea but unfortunately, our enjoyment was cut short due to the smoking. Too bad this hotel doesnโt have a designated area."

"Our room was easy to find the parking was no problem. Lots of stairs, but thatโs good for you!! The location was goodโฆand quiet, The beach area was empty, but very fun to walk down to and the pool is nice. About a 5 to 10 minute drive into Tropea so no issue there. Breakfast was great! They had excellent beer, the cappuccino was great. The room was large, overall a very nice place to visit Tropea from."

"The pool water was finitely not unkept in the week we were there. The water was green. The grounds are very well kept as well as the rooms after cleaning. There used to be a wonderful spa and I had a great massage from Alessandro."

"The staff was super helpful with all questions. The rooms are large with a great walk in shower. The beach is rocky and crystal clear with lots of fish. The lay out is great. The dinner menu is not always the best and it did jot match the online menue for the evenings dinner."

"We were greeted by Monia, she was very friendly and happy to help with our needs. The location was awesome just south of Pizzo, with both walking and ape rides into Pizzo, a short drive less than a couple minutes. The apartment was really awesome with great views, large balcony, inside great room sizes with kitchen with gas stove, and large refrigerator, complete with dishes and utensils for use. The grounds were greatly maintained, with a large outside pool right outside the rooms, and a few steps further was a private beach area with chairs and umbrellas and access to the sea. The train station was very close walking distance to get to Tropea and more. The property offered breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly sandwiches and pizzas, with a minimal bar area. There was adequate parking for our vehicle and the property seemed very safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. I felt is was a great location and property. Thank you everyone for making our stay wonderful. We appreciate all of you, and will see you again."

"I found this property because I wanted to be closer to airport, whatโs a gem. Very beautiful is just directly on the beach, high ceilings, big size room, hardwood floors, surrounded by mountains and sea, good breakfast. Very elegant. The owner is very warm and very attentive to the guests. Another gem is just 10 min away from this hotel - Terme Caronte 1716. Beautiful spa resort with mud, thermal water treatment run by amazing, warm and kind lady. I felt much better even after one session. Looking forward to come back !"
