Nice walk along a canal from sandiacre all the way to Shipley park or opposite way towards long eaton to sawley marina. Great bike route too
The Derby Canal This short stub off the Erewash Canal just north of Sandiacre Lock marks what was the Derby canal. After here it becomes pretty much invisible except for some now redundant bridges.
