"Room had a stale smell, staff helped to get the windows unlocked for me. Unfortunately check in was slow and would have been nice to the staff to offer some water while you wait, particularly as your generally arriving from travelling long distances. Menu for room service was out of date, and hard to hear the staff when ordering as the phone was more for looks than functionality. Rooftop bar is nice but no priority given to those staying in house and service is lacking. Additionally room only cleaned upon request. All in all, an ok stay, however the expected more from my favourite hotel brand!"
"Very clean room, wonderful facilities, outdoor pool was a massive plus.
The room had great amenities, stovetop and bathroom were great.
Can be a bit warm in the room on hot days, was 29 degrees in vienna and the room was a bit warmer than hoped despite having the room thermostat set to its lowest
Would stay again"
"Hotel Stefanie was our Vienna home for our seven day stay, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the location, comfort, and cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of every member of the personnel. The front desk staff were patient and knowledgeable and always made good recommendations for our excursions. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were kind and courteous. It was a pleasure to enjoy the amenities and overall beauty and elegance of the property before and after exploring the city; and the breakfast, in particular, was something we looked so forward to every morning. The attention to detail was top-notch, and we'll never forget our holiday in Vienna, thanks in part to the hospitality offered at Hotel Stefanie."
"Excellent properly very convenient for arrivals by train from airport and connection to city by train. Also within walking distance to the centre of Vienna. Hotel smells nice - Amenities were good bed very comfortable. It was our 20th wedding anniversary hotel didn’t take any notice for our request for a room with a view instead we were on 4th floor with view of other offices in front of us. Breakfast was very good however, the person making hot breakfast was very rude and made customers wait for so long making eggs and waffles and on a couple of occasions send me away and said come back and he had given my waffle to another customer and I had to wait again! I think hotel needs to review this staff attitude and serving time. Also coffee and tea at the machine was nightmare with long ques. Other than that I would recommend the hotel but I wish they made more attention to our request to make our stay more special."
"I loved my stay in the hotel . The vibe is different and has an energy and youth . I wish to stay few more night and stay in the lobby where you feel life.
The cleaning is per order , not daily . But you can ask every day .
The staff very friendly and helpful"
"The hotel was wonderful—our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and all of the amenities provided were great. It was especially handy to have washers and dryers in the basement for guests’ use, although you do have to download an app to use them and pre-load your account with 20€ (you can claim a refund of any unused portion of your balance). The hotel staff were extremely warm, kind, and very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located close to several public transportation options to the city center, and the Vienna Pass made traveling on public transit a breeze. The only things that were lacking that otherwise would have made this a five-star stay: the hotel does not have good climate control. It was uncomfortably warm during our stay, which led to poor sleep most nights. The staff kindly lent us a fan, but to run it at night, we had to keep our key card in the power slot that controls the room’s electricity, and there was a very bright neon light illuminating the headboard of the bed that could not be turned off. We tried to cover the light with our bath towels, but that was a very inconvenient design flaw of the room. Otherwise, we had a great stay!"
