"We stayed for two days in this lovely place Sand in Taufers. Its pretty small place, just some bars and restaurants are available but you're so close to the mountains so it was perfect for our hiking trip. The hotel itself looks on the webpage pretty cool and totally new. We booked a superior suite (€ 460 for two nights) and honestly we were more than disappointed regarding the room. "We enjoyed our stay here, staff was great. Well situated to sightseeing in the area being close to Brunico and short drive to Lago di Brasie. Only issue we had was about info for the spa. You should bring your own bathing cap as it’s required to use the pool and a pair of flip flops. Some of the showers in the adult side of the spa didn’t work. Steam rooms and saunas were great. "

"Overall an enjoyable stay for 2 nights. It’s close to Lago do Braies and bus 442 runs through this charming town. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had basic utensils, pots and pans. Outdoor parking was easy and pretty spacious. There’s two grocery stores steps away. I wish they had more communication about the saunas requiring you to be nude. This caught me by surprise since I was looking forward to using the facilities after some long hikes but ultimately I was uncomfortable....
