This place is easily located although there is a fence to drive or walk around to get to the beach (12 minute walk). 8 minutes away from Hearst castle. Place is a little rundown and walls are thin. We got the jacuzzi tub and some jets didn’t work. We could also hear our neighbors filling up their tub and using their jets:/. Fireplace adds nice ambiance but then the wall heater ruins that. Bed was descent.

Easy and convenient. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. When checking out, front desk person gave me 2 snickers bars for the road! Absolutely impressed - never had that happen before!!!

We loved our stay at Quality Inn, near Hearst Castle. We drove up from Southern Cali so we go there late, but we had no problem getting into our room. The room was spacious and clean. They also offer continental breakfast which was nice. We had coffee, tea, bagels, eggs and yogurt. Staff was very welcoming and nice. We also had dinner at the Seafood restaurant next door. Overall a nice stay, convenient and much needed. Will come back again.

Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed only one night but it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nothing fancy but I would stay there again. The free breakfast is great. There’s a lot of options from indulgent DIY waffles to healthier choices like yogurt and oatmeal. My daughters are picky eaters but there was something for all of us. The cookies at the front desk were delicious too and the location is convenient. For the price I paid, I wasn’t expecting such a wonderful experience.

We feel like we have found a gem of a hotel with the Quality Inn. While not fancy, it is clean and quiet plus you get a hot breakfast. The staff went out of their way to help us. We appreciate the amenities such as a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The shower has good water pressure. There is even a pool, hot tub and fire pit for unwinding in the evening. We were thoroughly happy with our stay and would come back to this property.

The service was great and the free breakfast provided a variety of foods. The room was spacious and we loved that there was two folding tables in the closet (for luggage) instead of just one. The jetted tub was a good feature but getting in and out for a shower was not great. I wish the tub was separate. The only problem we really had was the water pressure while showering and the inconsistent temperature based on others taking a shower.
