Nice hotel. Large pool that is well maintained and staffed....all inclusive food is generally good....a la carte menu (Italian) limited but excellently presented and delicious. Nice grounds....bungalows small and could do with little renovation...staff, generally, are good.....several where outstanding...would recommend

Spent a very comfortable weekend here. The staff are very friendly and the pool is wonderful. The breakfast buffet offers amazing choice and the food is really delicious. The hotel operates a very convenient airport shuttle. I don't recall sleeping in a more comfortable bed in my entire life.

There is basically no night-life in or anywhere near this hotel so don't book if that is what you're after, and there isn't really anything in the way of entertainment for kids. However, if you're looking for ultra relaxing and affordable luxury, 5 star service, and near Michelin starred quality food then book a deluxe room here and you'll be delighted! I have stayed in many great hotels around the world as a business traveller and considering this is in Managua this is right up there in my top...

We spent a glorious 3 weeks at Hacienda Puerto del Cielo over Christmas and New Year 2014-15, with its stunning scenery, photographs cannot do it justice, the panoramic view across the National Park to the distant Masaya volcano are so beautiful one can understand why the hotel has been named, “Gateway to Heaven”. Despite the beauty of HPDC, we found the most important and consistently enjoyable aspect of our stay was the staff. The front of house and kitchen staff were delightful, great...

Very happy with our stay - comfortable bed, good food available in the hotel and very pleasant staff.

We chose this hotel because of the free airport shuttle which was prompt and very professional. You have to book in advance, attempts were slow via email, but I discovered that the hotel have english and spanish speakers if you call. The hotel rooms are petite, but modern, clean and comfortable with in-room wifi. Perfect for an overnight stay near the airport. It's also right next door to a shopping mall which has various eating options, a few bars and a casino so we had the chance to head out...

This hotel could easily be missed from the front, but behind the gates is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful building and gardens and a decent pool. The area around the hotel is not beautiful, but felt safe, and has plenty of eating and drinking options. I would stay here again.

Great staff and location. The hotel does feel dated but it's still very comfortable and has all the amenities.

Great place good price friendly and clean highly recommend
