"If you are looking for an amazing place to stay with great food, great service, calm beaches and a low key location, then you can't miss Hemingway. This is truly a place to relax and just enjoy beach life. This is far from the hustle and bustle of Punta Cana, although there are some small clubs nearby. Just a fantastic place."

"For the location and the price, I would do it again. It had it’s hiccups but clean, safe and had WiFi. Staff was nice. If you’re the easy going type you will love it. If you’re high maintenance why are you even looking here. Up your budget."

"Overall, I had a good experience. This is a great hotel for a short stay when arriving in or leaving Santo Domingo, especially because it’s conveniently located near the airport. The food is very good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast offers several choices. The staff may be limited, but everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and willing to assist. The hotel also has two pools, including a very large main pool. My biggest concern is the size of the rooms and especially the bathrooms. There is very little space around the beds, and it’s easy to bump your legs on the corners. The bathrooms are extremely tight, and the position of the door makes entering, exiting, and even using the toilet uncomfortable. Some A/C units could also use improvement. Another issue is the entrance from Las Américas Highway. The hotel needs a larger, more visible sign before the entrance so drivers have enough time to slow down. It’s very easy to miss the entrance, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for one or two nights, particularly when arriving in the country or before heading to the airport. With a few improvements, it could be even better."
