Search Farmstay in San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area

"This place is ok. I’ve stayed there over 30 times in the past 8 years. The food used to be much better. The rates went up after Covid which is understandable. But I am finding similar hotels in Gilroy 15 minutes away for $50-$60 less. Then they just started an additional parking fee on my most recent visit. I probably will not stay here anymore. "

"Check in was easy and we were able to request a different room with no problem. Property is older and looks worn, but the bed in our room was comfortable and the room was clean. Lots of truck noise from resting and overnight trucks at adjacent truck stop. Great restaurant across the street with an extensive menu and breakfast. We chose to go there for breakfast. Fine for the overnight during our road trip. "

"We were delighted with our stay at La Quinta Inn Los Banos from the moment we walked into the festively decorated lobby. The rooms were clean with all the ammenities. The indoor pool was fabulous, an enchanting environment with tropical plants, soft lighting and comfortable lounge chairs. The breakfast was substantial with eggs, potatoes, sausage and fresh waffles in addition to all the rest. The front desk was charming and helpful. We will definitely return."

"We checked in after hours, conveniently at the gass station. The room was HUGE! The 1/2 covered patio w/table & chairs a bonus! We found our on check out, that Tracy upgraded our room at no charge! The property manager, Daniel greeted us in the morning and was very friendly and chatty (like us). We experienced two earthquakes in the wee hours of the morning. That was AWESOME! The bed was comfy, room neat and clean. My husband made use of the desk, catching up on bills on his laptop. There was a separate table for dining. Fridge and coffee maker included. The leaves were in full autumn color. We will stay here again!"
