Decent place to stay - close to beach and great Santurce restaurants. Staff are lovely and helpful. Nice to have access to their sister hotel down the street.

Upon arrival to the hotel you smell raw sewage at both entrances, this was our welcome to the property each time we returned during the week. We walk around the area and beyond and that was not the case in our travels. The room looked nothing like what was advertised on Expedia, the room with the Queen bed was dirty , did not have a dresser for our clothes, the closet smelled like mold, the bathroom was disgusting, the pink ceramic tub from the 60’s did not drain when taking a shower it filled up with filthy water, the tiles in the bathroom were blue and they were replaced with light green tiles when they had to break into the walls, if they even bothered to put tiles in there were bare spots. The water trickled out of the sink but half the time we didn’t have running water. There are bare wires hanging out of the ceiling in the closed bar area. The hotel should close for a few years and make repairs to the areas of concern and make it a decent property, it does have potential but needs a lot of work.

Terrible. Checked in late on a Monday evening to discover the queen size room I booked was actually a full stuffed in a shoebox size room. Couldn’t even open the door all of the way without hitting furniture. Our last night we came back late after a full day of beach and old San Juan to discover there was no water in the whole hotel. I only discovered this after I left a juicy one in the toilet. No phone call or note to inform us and had to sleep in my day’s filth. I do not recommend.

Room was pretty small but big enough. Definitely going for an older motif but has a tv with satellite internet and wifi in the rooms. Staff wa very friendly and helpful. Less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants in walking distance including fancier options.

I truly love supporting local businesses, and I really wanted this stay to be a great experience because the hotel definitely has potential. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made it hard to fully enjoy our time there. We paid for amenities that were either unavailable or not functioning during our stay. The pool was out of service the entire time, and although there was a bar on site, there was never anyone working. There was also no maid service during our stay, no towel refresh, and we weren’t able to change our bedding. The biggest concern was our room. There was standing water due to a leaking ceiling. We called about it multiple times, but it was never resolved. Because of the leak, the room smelled like mildew throughout our stay and attracted mosquitoes. We were bitten numerous times on our bodies and faces while inside our room, which was extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, during the last few hours before checkout, our water stopped working completely, so we weren’t even able to shower before leaving for home. Again, I genuinely believe this property has potential with proper resources and maintenance improvements. I hope they take feedback seriously and make the necessary changes, because I would love to see this hotel thrive — but based on this experience, it wasn’t the best stay for us.

The room was decent and the staff courteous.They were very accomodating when I checked out and had to leave my bags with them for a couple of hours. They have free coffee in the morning and that's it. They have a pricey restaurant nearby where they'll steer you for breakfast but no one was in it but two waiters. The biggest disadvantage is that it can be noisy at night if people are checking in late.

Our stay At Wind Chimes was very peaceful and restful. The old spanish decor and beautiful greenery added a nice elegant touch. I was able to sketch at both At The Wind Chimes and at Acacia. I loved that we were able to enjoy both sister hotels. The staff was amazing, Bryan, Jhan, and Ariel were super helpful and attentive. Maid service was excellent( Rosalia you're the best!), what ever we needed they were able to accommodate. Everyone one was so nice and amiable. You guys have a great team, thank you! I would definitely be staying here in the future. Having stayed and experienced both these sister hotels, I am definitely torn. Between the pool, hot tub, patio decks, Niche restaurant( Carlos Morales did an amazing job with the food, definitely top notch cuisine), and the beach being right down the street, I had a lovely time and stay. When you arrive, you get an actual key. It opens your door as well as the private entrance doors that connect to the street. The hotel is probably my favorite hotel, not just in Puerto Rico, but from anywhere I've visited. It is beautiful and peaceful. You will feel so safe. Each room is tucked away in ypur own little alcove. There is a very nice small pool. There are lots of sitting areas. If you leave the hotel there are blocks of food, bakeries, snacks. It is a great place to stay if you want to walk and relax. It is approximately 7 minutes grom the airport and 7 minutes from old san juan.

The hotel is nice however, the website stated that they had a bar and they were pictures of it on their website when I booked when I got there they told me the bar had closed during Covid and they didn’t reopen it so that’s very misleading to your guests. The hotel room also didn’t have a refrigerator so leftovers couldn’t be brought back to the room unless you plan on eating them right away. The staff was very friendly and they cleaned your room every day. The beds are comfortable as well. One of the pros is that it’s very close to the beach. It really doesn’t take you long to walk there. There are a ton of shops in the area. You can walk to as well and La Placita is very close by great for an evening out different bars and clubs you can walk-through listen to bands playing streets are blocked off for this great atmosphere if you’re staying here that’s definitely a must.

The hotel itself is cute, in the perfect place and really good for the money, but overall Jhan is the reason we would come back, his exceptional service and amazing personality really sealed the deal, on vacation you want a nice stay but personable service, he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy not only our stay at the hotel but what’s around the area, and their amenities in their sister hotel. Overall I’d highly recommend this hotel to any and everyone. They have rooms of all kinds to make your stay easy no matter who you come with!

Staff was not very accommodating when it came to an earlier check in. Literally made us wait in lobby or by pool until exactly 4:00 even though we got there at 10:00 from our cruise. Never offered us a towel or anything to make us comfortable. Room was very “stuffy”. Thank goodness there was a dehumidifier in the room. Remote and tv did not work. Had to get owner to come fix it. Overall, you get what you pay for. Would not stay here again as they put us “in the basement”!
