"I stayed at Villa San Ignacio for one night after landing late at the airport before beginning a motorcycle trip around Costa Rica. It turned out to be a very convenient and pleasant place to start the journey. The room itself was fairly basic, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay after a long travel day. What really stood out was the property. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with a really nice pool area that makes the whole place feel relaxing and tucked away from the road. The restaurant was another highlight. It is a lovely space and a great place to sit down for a meal before or after travel. It added a lot of character to the property and made the stay feel more special than a typical overnight airport stop. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made arriving late in a new country much easier. Overall, Villa San Ignacio is a great option if you are arriving late or need a comfortable place near the airport before heading off to explore Costa Rica."

Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. "
