"It was one-night stopover as we traveled from one side of the island to the other, so we didn’t need much. The hotel is priced about right for what it is, but it’s very basic so as long as you’re good with that and don’t expect much, you’ll be fine. The restaurant is right across the street, but otherwise, it’s very much a stop-off place, not somewhere to stay for more than a night or two."

"The hotel was well kept but there was NO HOT WATER to shower with. We informed front desk staff and they advised us to let the shower faucet run for 10 min to allow hot water to run. We let it run 45 min and still no hot water. Also the room was freezing because you could not control the AC. There was no microwave or phone in the room to call front desk if needed. I was very disappointed."

"It’s a different concept of stay. No on site staff but reachable via watts. Love the kitchen, pool and common areas. Don’t like much the fact there is no TV in the rooms but not a deal breaker. Don’t like the fact that exterior doors don’t lock properly all the time "

"My stay with my friends at El Faro Hotel in Puerto Rico was simply amazing. The landscape and design was breathtaking. Such a peaceful atmosphere that makes every moment feel like a tropical escape. The staff is warm and attentive, and to my surprise the food and drinks were amazing. I will definitely stay here again. It was truly an unforgettable and relaxing stay."

"The staff was friendly, and the room was cleaned. They are under construction of some interior area. Also noticed a great number of cats everywhere, including trying to sneak into the restaurant area."

"Sadly I have to say that our stay in Hotel Vista Azul was a disaster! Our room had bugs, there was NO hot water & when I went to use the phone to call the front desk the phone on our room was not working so we walked to the lobby & there was not a single staff member in sight! We were told by another guest that the only person working in the hotel at the time was a security guard. That was also nowhere in sight! The bathroom was not cleaned properly as the floor was dirty & had an unpleasant smell! The place was in a beautiful place but that all it had going for it! Don’t waste your time or money here! You will absolutely regret it!! With all that said I highly DO NOT recommend this place!!"

"I was extremely impressed, every interaction was warm, staff members were caring and very attentive. The restaurant was incredible, the food was delicious and served in a wonderful atmosphere. The pool was clean and it felt so peaceful. I loved this trip so much. "
