"Lovely Hotel. It was quite expensive for an overnight stay but very comfy beds and great staff. The lady on reception personally escorted us to our room upon arrival and the restaurant staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. Saltburn is lovely and the sea-front is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is very 'quirky' with it's decor and antiques, but we liked this. There's a lovely outside seating area. We had a 'corner' room, with windows either side which was nice. Good sized room and shower. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome. "

"We only stayed one night but had such a lovely welcome and so well organised. A homely hotel that included breakfast with lots of choices… A good place to explore and a fantastic beach although a car is advisable if not a fit walker. I’d definitely be going back there…"

No parking except 15 min walk up hill with pita parking meters that don’t work beyond 12 hrs and won’t take us cards or numbers. Would not recommend for elderly. There are a few paths down to town - check sign by blue lobster. "

"Cameron and his wife have created a lovely, bespoke place to stay in Staithes. Our room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. Perfect cooked breakfast from Cameron. We would love to return. A decent hill to negotiate down to the quay and the rooms but worth the effort."
