Good stay.

We stayed at the Livingstonia for one night as a beach break during our Malawi holiday, travelling in a taxi from the Sunbird Lilongwe.. It would have been lovely if we could have stayed longer but time was limited. The setting is idyllic, right on the beach, looking out to the lake and a small island. Just a one nighter on our journey south. We enjoyed lakeside rooms and a spectacular sunrise. No mosquito nets...? Friendly staff doing their best in difficult conditions.

I loved this little place, thought it was the prettiest and most charming along the beach. Having a bar and restaurant onsite was definitely a bonus. The staff are lovely and I would really recommend doing the sunset boat trip with snorkeling and eagle feeding. Overall excellent value, so much so that we thought we were undercharged for all our food and drink!
