"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. "Loved this property for our Christmas trip to Chamonix! Very convenient to all the restaurants and shopping and loved how large the rooms were in comparison to everything else in the area. Either a family of 4 and all our ski stuff, this kind of space is a luxury! Very clean. Wish they had breakfast but we were able to cook our own with the kitchenettes."

"The communal areas of the property were well maintained and welcoming. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a good location. Breakfast was varied and wholesome. Provision of free 24 hour tea, coffee and water was a welcome facility. However, the first room we were allocated was on a corner, with only a glazed door which opened on to s communal deck with only a net curtain for privacy. When questioned the staff member said, for privacy we would have to close the external wooden shutters, which was a bit of a nuisance. The room was affected by extremely noisy wastewater plumbing from other rooms. Which woke us up early in the morning. We requested a room change and were given a room on the top floor which wad unbearably hot , very small with no proper shower. Overall, we felt we were fobbed off with the lower quality rooms in the hotel. This maybe a reflection of the price we paid nut even so I don’t think it unreasonable to expect a high degree of comfort."
