Anyone with mobility issues needs to be careful about which room they book, of those in the castle I think that there are a couple on the first floor, accessed by a fairly grand staircase. Staff were kind and friendly. Food was good in the bar but over priced. My room was grubby, the bedding and bathroom were clean but there was dust and dirt on the ledges and windowsills.
