"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. We...

"A good stay for a night. The tent had all amenities like a king size bed, hot water, charging outlets etc. A warning- no heater! The dinner was okay. Though despite telling them one guest was vegetarian, they still overlooked this and did not even offer alternatives, which is surprising, this being a luxury camp. Otherwise an okay experience. "

"Staff somewhat aloof. Not sure what their roles were. One person spoke English. Difficult to communicate requests. The other staff were a bit stand offish, never engaging or smiling. Made for a bit of discomfort. I don't think the rooms/tent are hardly ever cleaned out. Bottled water in the tents on arrival were never replaced after the first day. "The property accepted our 2-night reservation 2 months ago but they were closed when we arrived. We had to find another lodging option on the spot. Not even an apology from the owner that we could contact on the phone. Terrible experience! "
