"We had to stay a night here as our original hotel wouldn't allow an early check in so we found this last minute. For the price you get what you pay for. AC didn't work so we had to keep balcony door open at night. It was walkable to shops and restaurants open late at night so that was good. Area seemed like heavily local and not touristy. The breakfast in the morning was good given the price."

Le Passage Cairo Hotel & Casino

Le Passage Cairo Hotel & Casino

8/10 Good
"Beautiful hotel, especially for the price. Only complaint was slow check in at past midnight arrival. Very happy with Meet and Assist service at the airport. The man who met us at the airport helped us at the visa kiosk, which, I think we might have had trouble on our own because it just basically gave us 2 receipts (no official looking visa document) but he said it's okay and wisked us through security (didn't even need a claim form to be filled out that they had given us on the plane) and then to baggage claim and then to our shuttle bus that someone else drove and took us to our nearby hotel. Seamless! Well worth the hotel's fee to do this."

"Tour buses and vans use a different entrance (farther from registration desk) than limo/taxis. Floor plan can be a bit confusing at first, especially arriving very tired at night."
