I am sure there were other ways we could have conveyed our concern when you reported this to us.We are truly disheartened by how your experience transpired. I most certainly understand that with your wife being pregnant it was a delicate matter and I would expect our team to handle this type of incident with their upmost concern. I would like to clarify a few details. Based on the reporting of your incident as well as the details I received from the Manager you mention being in touch with, I think there were a few misunderstandings. We are certainly not questioning whether your wife was bit by a tick. We indeed have a comprehensive pest control program at Baron's Cove given the insect/wildlife activity in our vicinity. This process involves regular onsite visits as well as thorough preventative measures in anticipation of the different seasons. As explained by the Manager during your visit, and our pest control expert whom we spoke with, ticks can travel and can encounter a person while outdoors. I understand you did not keep the ticks, but this is helpful to us in investigating. I truly understand your concerns especially during a time your wife was more vulnerable. And off course, we would always do what we can to restore the confidence of our guest and recover their experience while with us. I would love to discuss this further with you and for the opportunity to restore your confidence. I will also be happy to personally assist in the event you have any developments that may require my assistance.
