"A really welcoming and clean hotel in an ideal location if travelling by train. Booking always includes breakfast, afternoon Fika and a buffet dinner. The room itself is compact though the bathroom is adequate size. Karlstad itself is very laid back place and the weather tends to be slightly better than other parts of Sweden. More geared for a relaxing break."

"Breakfast was fabulous. Artwork and decor was intriguing. Rooftop pool area was relaxing and scenic. We booked with a third party and were not aware that we had to book our parking ahead of time, so that was unfortunate. One of our two rooms had an issue with the shower drain and we had to make a late-night move: not fun. But the location as priceless. Would definitely stay there again."

"Very good hotel , good breakfast buffet , but also provided coffee and cake in the afternoon and a buffet dinner which I wasn't expecting . This made the stay excellent value for money. Very friendly and informative staff"
