The reception was very friendly and check-in went smoothly. The room was large enough and well equipped. The breakfast was really good, there was a lot of choice.

Recommended for cyclists

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We travel with our bicycles and very much appreciated that we could store our bicycles in the hotel in the basement. The hotel is nicely located directly at the river and the city center is close by. There is free coffee at all times and the breakfast was appropriate. We can recommend the hotel for people traveling by bicycle.

Vacker placering vid KlarÀlven, i lugnt omrÄde av staden. Ett litet hotell med personlig karaktÀr. Blev uppgraderat till ett större rum vilket jag tackar för, Rummet var litet slitet vilket mÀrktes fÀmst pÄ skrivbordet som borde ÄtgÀrdas via ytbehandling. Skön sÀng, hÀrlig dusch/toalettrum. Frukosten bra men skulle gÀrna ha önskat nÄgot varmt, t.ex. Àggröra och bacon/prinskorv. Men mÀtt blev jag och lÀmnade hotellet med ett tacksamt leende pÄ lÀpparna. .

Supert . Hyggelig betjening og fine rom . Denne gangen fikk vi dobbelseng😀. Bodde her for snart 10 Ă„r siden pĂ„ vĂ„r fĂžrste kjĂŠrlighetstur og da fikk vi enkeltsenger , nedtur 😂😂😂. Den gang var det restaurant pĂ„ hotelle noe som var et stort pluss . NĂ„ gikk vi noen hundre meter for Ă„ komme til restauranter , sĂ„ ikke noe problem 😀

Fin lokasjon, hyggelig betjening og relativt fine rom. I helgen er det gratis gateparkering som jeg benyttet etter tips fra resepsjon. Eneste minuset var en rotete frokost.

DÄrlig renhold pÄ badet. Veldig mÞrkt rom med dÄrlig lys mtp sÄ lite vindu. Vaffeljernet ved frokosten burde stÄtt for seg selv, for hvis du skulle ha frukt, meieriprodukter, gryn eller syltetÞy kom man ikke frem pga vaffelkÞ. Savnet grove rundstykker/brÞd, men ellers ok frokost. Sengene var bra.

Synd att kalla (och bedöma) detta som hotell, borde ses som ett motell. Ingen service efter kl 22, fruktansvÀrda sÀngar, ingen ac och omrÄdet för servering av kvÀllsdrink/frukost liknar Scandic tidigt 80-tal. Detta till trots sÄ gör personalen stor skillnad med deras soliga humör.

Bra lugnt boende, med god frukost vid vackra KlarÀlven o endast nÄgra min walk till centrum och Lars Lerin o VÀrmlandsmuseum. 15min walk till Inre hamn för bÄtbuss genom stan. Ett boende vi gÀrna besöker igen.

Bra hotell med bra löge

Bra hotell med lÀge vid Àlven. Hade turen att fÄ rett rum mot Àlven och dÄ pÄ skuggsidan nÀr det var 29 grader och SOL i Karlstad Litet rum och varmt men vi kunde sova med fönsterrutor öppet hela natten Frukosten av det enklare slaget men det fanns allt att vÀlja pÄ. Lite speciellt med att frukosten var uppdukad i receptionen Fanns ingen egen parkering Totalt en bra upplevelse
