Edge of hay field Recently cut, and hopefully gathered in before the rain forecast for the next day. The plant is a Lavatera spp growing over from the garden bordering this field. A public footpath cuts straight across the field to Crossway Farm which is just visible in the distance.

Beautiful view from our bedroom, but the decor of the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had the misfortune to try to sleep on and the pillows were not much better. The hotel is well located for visiting the town.
