Really enjoyed ourselves at this location, peace and tranquillity was perfect,
The owners were really friendly and go out their way to make you welcome the food was great ,recommend the fillet steak ,the hotel and room was spotless and everything was freshly cooked ,breakfast was amazing,
We can’t say enough about our stay here. The owners were two of the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like we were friends who had come for a visit after not seeing each other for many years.
Food was great!
The room was sweet and comfortable. We loved our stay and will plan on returning when we’re next ‘across the pond.’
When we were leaving, the owner came hurrying out to wave goodbye to us as we were pulling out of the driveway. That’s a first for us!
The attention to detail was amazing! Beautiful location and facility and also the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We appreciated all the little touches.
Ian and Suzanne were friendly and hard working. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very peaceful. We had a spacious room and enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners there.
It’s in a picturesque area.
The downside was, no lift and our room was on the second floor.
Very welcoming hosts, nothing too much trouble.Entire hotel spotlessly clean.Selection for breakfast very comprehensive and delicious, individually freshly prepared.Would recommend and visit again.
Situated about 20mins drive outside Fort William this lodge offered spotless clean accommodation in all areas, excellent quality breakfast with a lot of choice over and above usual continental.
Would stay here again and definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed our short stay. From the friendly welcome to the immaculate, spotless bedroom and the delicious food with great service nothing could be faulted. A gem of a place. We definitely intend to return!
What a hotel!. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. The location is out of this world, the food is exceptional, the rooms are extremely high level, and there is even the added bonus of a Games room, Gym, Sauna and Jacuzzi
After a fright that Hotel.com got check in date wrong,Ian the host put us at ease and assurrd us we cod stay. Top bloke Excellent experienced from therre on in
Very welcoming place to stay, greeted by the owners on arrival and a very quite and easy check in. Very good covid 19 measures in place and very clean. Look forward to returning
Le site est vraiment bien, très belle vue. La décoration est bien aussi. Cependant, les lits étaient très très inconfortables, presqu'inutilisables. Ma fille a dormi par terre avec la douillette...
I stayed for 4 nights at Glenspean, and I can't ever recall enjoying a hotel stay more. It was exactly what I needed after a long burnout year. Ian and Suzanne were amazing hosts -- they were attentive but never intrusive, and I always felt welcome and cared for. The place is SPOTLESS; I mean not a SPECK of dust anywhere, not on the heavy curtains or silk flowers or chandeliers... it was clean clean clean. The view from the dining room is gorgeous and soothing. The food is very tasty and portions are generous. There's a library/lounge, games room, gym, sauna & jacuzzi, plus tables and benches outside if it's nice out, so plenty of places to hang out if you don't want to be in your room. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The place can't be located easily. There are absolutely no visible sign boards. We tried calling the number mentioned on Expedia; it was invalid. After an hour of searching we finally got there to know that the hotel entry is closed for the day. The guy who came to receive us eventually (after a further wait of 5-10 minutes in dark & cold), greeted us really bad. He declined to help us with the luggage even after letting him know that my wife was an expectant mother. Ours was one out of the 3 rooms occupied for that day and still such a reception surprises me.
Our room had an horrible odor. We left the windows opened but the smell didn't go a bit. Next day, at the breakfast, we saw that the cutlery is dirty and pale is color. The breakfast was equally bad and tasteless. The guy at the reception last night was the same guy at breakfast. Besides loss of guests, seems like they have loss of staff as well.
Lastly, at checkout they completely harassed us. Firstly, there was no mention of the checkout time on the website or reception. We received a call at 11 AM saying we need to leave immediately. We explained that we weren't ready & my wife isn't feeling well. We thought he understood but eventually kept calling or knocking on the door every 5-10 minutes. The guy mentioned that they are fully booked for the day and there was an early checkin. I immediately checked online to see that there were at least 3 rooms available of the category we stayed in. Torturous experience it was.
firstly i was impressed with the sitting of the hotel, the staff were cheerful and very helpful.
the food was excellent.the ambience of the building was just great.the bedroom was
excellent.my stay although short was thoroughly enjoyable.
