"We were greeted by Dave on arrival. He upgraded us to a suite. Very friendly and helpful. The property was located in a beautiful part of town overlooking the lake. It was very close to the restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lake Tekapo"

"Nice stay, in a very small but warm and cozy room. Looking out the window at the snow was cool. Very close to the village and lakefront. I wouldn't rate it as a 5-star hotel though. No room service available (which meant a trek through snow to the reception to get a flat white in the morning). And we had to take our own bags to our rooms. The staff at reception were really friendly. Room was pretty nice and had everything I needed, although the shower had some mould in the grouting. Bathroom could be cleaned a little better. I liked the shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. I would stay here again."
