"Lake Tekapo is a very small town drawing tourists to the beautiful lake. The Godley Hotel is a wonderful spot to rest, get a meal, enjoy a drink, and visit the other restaurants and shops. Their restaurant is open early and later than many others nearby. But note their laundry facility is not available later in the evening. Arrive in Lake Tekapo in the early afternoon to take advantage of all it and this hotel have to offer."

"Simply Amazing! Lake Tekapo from the most stunning stay location. Great experience living in such a cool hut by the lake- stunning, very nicely designed- very convenient- every part of the hut is aesthetically designed and meticulously built. Kitchen is small but fully functional. The nights give dark sky experience directly at the hut. Loved our decision to skip better known brands and go for this experience. Loved the rabbits"
