"The staff were good, the breakfast was very good. Plenty of food options & cooked full breakfast was unlimited. The property is old & run down, it has a Rottnest charm about it but needed upgrading years ago. The room was maintain at a reasonable standard but the dark, dirty looking uneven slate floors would be hard to clean. The worst area was the downstairs outside area, cobweb & dirt on screen door & all around outside area. Dirty outside furniture. All for $250 a night. Never stay again"

"We made a last-minute booking at Duxton Hotel Perth with my family, as we were attending a wedding in town and decided not to drive home afterwards. It turned out to be a great decision, as we got to experience the fineness of this hotel. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and ready to assist, and our room overlooked the majestic Swan River, a truly stunning view. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend Duxton Hotel Perth to anyone visiting the city."
