"Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. "Our flight from Canada was delayed to the point where we arrived about half an hour before check out. We had time for a 3 hour layover before our next flight and the staff made sure we were able to sleep the whole time by providing a late checkout. We truly appreciated it! "

"Cannot get any closer to airport! Stunning main entrance to the hotel. Rooms were very comfortable, lots of thoughtful touches. Beds were extremely soft and comfy, very good nights sleep! Barely any noice considering you’re at Gatwick. Well air conditioned rooms. Clean corridors. Easy to navigate the hotel. "

"Changes to my itinerary that were outside of my control meant I could not complete my stay. I advised staff several months before, acknowledging their no refunds policy. I asked if it was possible to obtain a credit note for future use and was told a flat NO and that they were not part of the wider Hampton group and independent. I asked if I could get a credit note for their specific hotel and again told NO, yet I would bet that knowing I would be a no show they will have resold the room. Overall I would never deal with this hotel again and would warn others not to either. "

"Gatwick South terminal Hilton Hotel was excellent for our 1 night stop over before our morning flight to Antigua. We arrived by coach from Bristol but found the signage from the coach drop off point for finding the entrance to the hotel lacking and when we eventually found our way both passenger lifts were out of order. "A good value hotel in an excellent seafront location within easy walking distance of the town centre, shops and restaurants. The building is old and a little dated but has plenty of charm, with quirky lifts and very friendly reception staff. Our clean twin room had a lovely sea view and all the essentials, although some of the electrics looked a little outdated. We didn’t receive housekeeping during our stay and had to request fresh towels. The room was extremely hot due to the heating being set high, and although staff kindly provided a fan, it wasn’t possible to adjust the temperature in the room. Opening the window also proved tricky after a pigeon flew in on the first morning. There was also an unpleasant cannabis smell on our floor during part of the stay. Breakfast offered a good self-service selection, including a full English, though dining room service varied depending on staff. Overall, despite being a little dated and having a few quirks, the hotel is clean, affordable and well located, making it a solid budget-friendly choice. 🌊🏨"
