"I read the reviews before I booked and always take them with a grain of salt, but this property lived up to every review and supersceded my expectations. Yes it was clean, well appointed and all the other amazing things others have said about it. But what truly made it special was the host - Ana and the place itself. The coziness and the home away from home vibe that was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and the common area to come back to after exploring all day was just the best!! Then lovely Ana making us a home cooked breakfast!! The conversation, energy and other guests were delightful. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you :)"

"The grounds and lake Toxaway itself were lovely. The room was very clean. Hallways and public areas were nice but not pristine. It's a very historical place. I was served champagne when I checked in...very nice. There were little food goodies in the room with high prices on them-i would have thought for over $500 a night, snacks would be complimentary. We will moist likely go back to celebrate our birthdays again."

"Very easy check in and out. Rooms clean and had everything we needed. Ice machine not working that was kinda of a bummer but I did get an email that property was undergoing renovations which I really didn’t notice which was very nice."
Hampton Inn & Suites Cashiers Sapphire Valley

"Far and away the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever been in. Being close to the Highlands is definitely a plus the room was very nice and was equipped with a microwave and as a refrigerator. Modern design with a very nice bathroom. They have a regular elaborate morning breakfast that I think goes till 10 but I did not partake 24 hour coffee station and small things of that nature are helpful. It’s a very nice property and you don’t feel like you’re at a chain hotel."
Pilot Cove Forest Lodging

"Great location for mountain travel and shopping in small towns. Very comfortable stay with just a few suggestions. Cushions on the metal kitchen chairs and a small fan to use on the porch to cool it off and keep bugs at bay. Would stay again."
