"What an amazing location! Staff friendly. We had a drink in the bar when we arrived. Lovely room - clean and big, tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water was a nice touch, bathroom was a bit small! we didn’t have breakfast. Only bad point was over flowing bins outside by the car park."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay. A quiet village on the edge of the moors with cozy country pub. The pub food was spectacular! I’m not exaggerating… the chefs are top notch. The pub staff were so friendly and helpful too. The room was comfortable with a full king size bed and small well stocked kitchen. If we lived in the UK, we’d visit every year! As Canadians, we’ll have to wait till “next time “."

"Despite my rating i would like to say I would stay here again and would recommend. The location is excellent, parking plentiful and staff are brilliant. The breakfast is absolutely faultless and was really superb. These make up for most of the short falls. Rooms (especially bathrooms) could do with some upgrading as they are very dated and tired. If you shower at the time as other people the water is scalding or freezing which isn't too pleasant. Worst for us was the fact the heating was still on despite the fact it was 20+ degrees. Even with all the windows open (which let in noise obviously) it was stifling. Also the mattresses were really soft will springs very easily felt. That said, our room was clean and spacious enough, house keeping extremely efficient and we did enjoy our stay."
