The San Pietro Grand Suite is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and most importantly, a metro station. The rooms are modern and extremely clean, and the staff is kind and helpful. The instructions for getting into the hotel are a little confusing, but when you see the place, it all becomes clear and extremely easy.
I recommend taking the SIT bus service to and from the airport, which is 6 euro per person each way. The hotel staff recommended it because the Vatican bus stop is so close by, and it worked out very well.
- The breakfast, which is brought to your room each day, is lovely. But my one criticism of the hotel is that they really need to serve breakfast beginning at about 6:30am. Busy tourists need to leave the hotel early. We were not able to take advantage of the breakfast three out of six mornings at the hotel because the 8am start to breakfast is just not early enough. They did offer to provide yogurt and pastry the day before an early tour, which we were able to put in the refrigerator to eat before we left that day, which was very nice.
**Overall, I highly recommend the San Pietro Grand Suite.
