Really great property for the price. I went with a friend for a few days in Rome and this was just what we needed. Very nice and friendly hostel in a great location. About a 10 minute bus from the train station and a half hour walk from the entrance

David was welcoming, and the room itself was clean, although small. However the bathroom was fairly filthy, there was barely a kitchen to speak of, just a sink area in the corner of an entry area, a fridge that was out of order and a toaster—not even a kettle to make coffee! The room does not match the pictures, and the only storage is a rail with some hangers, no drawers at all. Upon arrival I was provided a top sheet and a couple of blankets that are too small for the bed, and had to make the bed myself. Overall, it sufficed for my purposes for a few nights, but I would be unlikely to return.

Basic but great location

It is a basic stanza: A room with a bed and a bathroom to share for floor, but its location IS PERFECT, close to different kinds of Public Transportation (Buses, Trams and Metro) and close to many main Rome Attractions like Coliseum, Basilica of Saint Giovanni in Laterano and walkable to others. Davide, the guy who does the check-in is very nice and friendly and give you great tips and advices where to go and eat without expend too much money. I will stay in this place next time I come back to Rome.

I would strongly advise caution if you’re considering staying at this place. The man on-site was extremely rude and at times threatening, which made me feel very unsafe. The property is located on a very busy street, which added to the discomfort and made it difficult to relax. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, and I would highly recommend avoiding this place altogether. There are plenty of other options that are safer and more welcoming.

Perfect for a night stay in the centre of Rome. However there seemed to be heaps of mosquitoes in the room so ended up having to buy mosquitoe repellent. Other than that it was a nice stay.

I travel a lot. I’m very adaptable. However this property was a real “dive”. Only reason to stay here is lower costs. I suggest paying a few extra dollars and going elsewhere.

Not much to this property in terms of amenities but it has the necessities. It more than makes up for it with its fantastic location, transport links and friendly staff. The staff member met me on arrival and pointed out the best restaurants and bars in the area. He was also around at least once per day in case anything was needed. Top service! I would recommend this apartment as a base for exploring rome

Friendly staff, disappointing room

Very friendly welcome host, Davide - he told us the best tourist spots and the best way to navigate the city, can’t fault him. Poor communication from the property - we were stood on the street in 36°C heat for 30 mins with our suitcases because they hadn’t told us where/how to check in. We have never stayed in a hotter room. No air con and the fan did nothing. It made our stay highly uncomfortable. No fridge to keep drinks cool. The room was dusty and run down, the pillows were so flat it was like we were sleeping without one, and the pictures online deceive you about how small the room is. We could barely fit both our suitcases inside the room unless they were on the bed. The bathroom was another story. 4 guests (us 2 and 2 in another room) were rationed to one toilet roll per day. On the final day this had already ran out by 1am so the next morning we were without toilet roll. The shower didn’t drain and was filthy. Wouldn’t touch the shower curtain, it had mould growing on it. Bathroom window overlooks busy courtyard from which people can see straight in. The hand soap provided was a dirty old bar of soap. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels while backpacking in third world countries.

It's a trap

1. Don't be cheated by the pictures. This place is dim, dirty and shabby. The owner doesn't even bother to cover it up with clean linens. It's on the ground floor, facing a yard surrounded by other houses. There is really no sunlight. The room has an unpleasant moldy smell. 2. No decent toiletries at all. You are only given ONE small bag of shower gel for each night of stay. Alternatively, you could choose to get a USED bar soap. 3. You are monitored 24hrs by the neighbor. He will tell everything about you to the owner. And they will go into your room when you go out. 4. You will be asked to pay for double if your friend stops by to see you here even for a minute. The absurd excuse he gave is to prevent covid. 5. The subway runs right underground below this house. You will be annoyed constantly by the noise and shake because of the running trains. 6. Only two power sockets in the room. One for the refrigerator. The other for the lamp. If you need to charge your phone, you have to make a choice. 7. A lot of things are out of order or in poor conditions, particularly in the bathroom. The toilet seat is loose; the water tap is loose; little water from the shower. This place is not really economical. There are decent hotels nearby with just slightly higher price that offer free breakfast and good service. This is just an airbnb style guest house with no luggage storage that both the owner and this platform show little care. DON'T be fooled. Stay somewhere else!

- die Einrichtung war nicht schön und vieles alt und kaputt. Kühlschrank kaputt, nicht mal ein wasserkocher - citytax sollte in bar gezahlt werden, obwohl nirgendwo was davon stand und ich hatte kein Bargeld. - für eine Nacht ok aber bitte nie wieder - Stornierung nicht möglich, was auch unpraktisch ist - überteuert
