Absolutely fantastic stay in Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood! The location, close to Roma Trastevere train station, was perfect — great transport links and surrounded by wonderful places to eat. As someone who works late and sleeps in, I appreciated having a cafe right next door for a late breakfast or snack whenever I finally rolled out of bed. Even coming home with colleagues at midnight or 1 am after a long workday, there was a small grocery vendor still open nearby where I could grab some fresh fruit — such a convenient touch.
The host went above and beyond during my 3-night stay: they left breakfast vouchers, but the real standout touch was the bottles of water waiting for us to help beat the brutal summer heat. Such a thoughtful detail.
The space itself was spotless and wonderfully quiet, so even in the middle of the city I never heard street noise while sleeping. Despite being right in the heart of Rome, it felt like a calm, safe retreat from all the hustle and bustle outside. The host was consistently responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I’d happily book here again on a future trip — highly recommended!
