We had a great stay here! Loved the room, service, and breakfast. The room was super clean and shared spaces seemed like they were cleaned regularly. The bus and metro are close It is in what seemed like a residential area but it was nice to get away from the main city late at night.

A great budget hotel with lots of local amenities on the doorstep and close to the train and tram which will take you to the centre.

Great location (shops, culture, history, and lots of transport options including Trastevere train station 5-10 mins walk a way from the hotel which goes straight to and from the airport for €8) Our room was clean, modern and spacious with a balcony and bathroom Staff are friendly and helpful - Walls are very thin so your quality of sleep is determined by how considerate your fellow guests are - The street outside is noisy - The hotel is split between a number of random floors of an apartment building. Reception is on floor 7 and you have to buzz into the building before going up the small elevator to get your room key. Our room was on floor 4. You also have to return the key to reception whenever you leave. Overall, I recommend Radio Hotel but not for everyone. You have to be able to put up with some big quirks to enjoy your stay fully.

It was clean and the facilities were updated. Decor simple & inviting. Bar & breakfast at the hotel were nice addition. Staff efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants. It was walkable to the train station.

Dear Ayhan, thank you for the feedback, we are very pleased to know that you liked the work of our staff.As for location, in fact we are located at a very convenient location where train and buses pass (in two minutes walk from Trastevere Station), it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city center by bus. in 10 minutes from us on foot to the center of Trastevere, where you can find local Roman Restaurants.

All the modern amenities you would expect (ie. USB charging ports and coffee in room). Staff kept a smile on their faces at all times! Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance or the desk will call a taxi for you if needed! I like that the room has a physical key to open the door!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was generally fine, however my one criticism would be that the rooms need functioning air con, a simple fan doesn't suffice. It would also be better to take the boards of the windows as it stops heat from escaping and makes the room feel stuffy.

Website is lying, no AC
Arguably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Basically had to book another hotel and eat the cost it was so bad. Ants in the room, small bugs on the bedsheets, no AC when the website said it was supposed to have it (which should be illegal), A breakfast consisting of just cookies and cereal, a wi-fi that is practically unusable if you plan on doing any kind of work off of it and paper thin walls. Also you can’t take the key with you when you leave the building for some reason, the cleaning crew and staff will just unlock your door while you are in there (walked in on me twice), their shuttle transfer service is more than the cost of an Uber, but after all this, the thing that doesn’t add up the most is that the staff is really really nice at the front desk. I know it’s only a two star hotel but if you plan on booking here just to save some money, you are better off just renting a car and sleeping in that instead

Bed Bugs. Stay Away. Had to cut our stay short and check into a different hotel. Until the bed bugs situation is addressed they should not take new reservations.

I wonder why some guests (very few, luckily) write crazy things like this just because we ask for an add-on to upgrade the Basic room to a Classic with private bathroom. Especially in these last months, we always clean and sanitize our rooms, and of course we do NOT have bed bugs!

Hotel was in a not so great area of town but we never really felt unsafe. Not saying to not stay here. It is alright for the price, but the bed was uncomfortable, there was mold in the shower, and tile floors? Little weird but that’s alright. Customer service was good and that’s all I have left to say

My stay was overall great! I just had a little trouble finding the check in desk because it was on the 7th floor. Except for the small door buzzer button outside, there is no indication that guests need to go that far upstairs to check in.

Although the staff were absolutely amazing, the only place to cool off from the 30 plus degrees weather, was the area where you checked in where the staff were. We thought it was odd that the common place was cool but our room was hotter inside than it was outside so we did not sleep. Our fan broke, there was no air conditioning unless you booked your room with it. That was not listed on the hotel description when we booked and prepaid for the room and once we checked in, we were not able to get a room with air conditioning. One outlet in the room closest to our bed was popping out and unsafe. Our shower leaked and the bathroom floor was full of water. The water didn’t smell right, almost like the smell of urine, and our skin was itchy in the morning. The staff was the best part, but that was the only part that I liked. Otherwise, I would not stay in this hotel again or in this part of Rome. Beware of the price listed on Expedia ( $60 Canadian) as they charged $40 for tax on top, and a European tax of €3 per person when we got there. So we actually paid $110 at the end. When I realized all these extra charges, I was still unable to cancel my booking as I had prepaid. Not impressed.

Considering it was a two-star rated hotel, it was just perfect for a single traveler, like myself. Yes, some of the extras and services are a bit "pricey", but remember, you are in Rome! Everything is more expensive the closer you get to the center and attractions.

This place is not what it looks like on the picture. I have to find a different hotel even though I already paid for this hotel. This hotel is 0 zero star and it’s far from everything. I will not recommend this to anyone.

The walls are thin and the street traffic is loud but didn’t keep me up. Easy 5 min walk to the train station. Tram and bus transportation are also very close. Grocery store behind the hotel for snacks and Trastevere area seemed very safe we walked back to hotel from train station often very late and never had any concerns. Overall a good place

the reviews might scare you, but i found this place to be fine and the staff were friendly. It does get a bit loud in the morning, but that should be your cue to get out and explore.
