This is a great, family run boutique hotel in an excellent location. This hotel is located on a floor in an old (to us) building that has been completely updated to modern but still very Italian standards. Don’t let the appearance of the exterior gates and lift fool you, don’t judge a book by its cover. The rooms are extremely clean, the desk staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful. The breakfast was just what we needed every morning. We don’t normally eat a heavy breakfast but the continental breakfast offered every morning was substantial enough for us. I do wish they had an early option for those who were heading out for early excursions such as a to go option. The hotel is a few blocks from the Barberini metro stop and taxi stand, the Trevi fountain is a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of good restaurants close by.

Not the most obvious hotel to find. Once inside lovely straight forward hotel. Clean, helpful staff, fab buffet style breakfast, big and comfortable bed. Most of the sites within walking distance and for those not hotel has easy access to metro station and taxi rank.

You are on your own -- no one present at front desk or other areas after checking in. You can reach someone by cell phone only for help. Very modern and up-to-date. Be aware that there is a elevator (truly a small lift for two with two luggage units). But you also will need to go up a few stairs to get to it. We had many things scheduled so we needed to leave before 7:30 breakfasts. For three mornings we had nothing from the hotel even though we asked them to possible prepare carry bags of food items (declined). If you want breakfast do not schedule anything first a.m. when in Rome.

Maison Tritone was recommended to us , and it was such a lovely place to stay. Rooms are lovely and each one is a themed room, spotlessly clean we couldn’t fault it . Breakfast was very enjoyable lots to choose from and all so fresh . Really excellent location , a few minutes walk from Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and about a 25 mins walk to the Colosseum. Would definitely recommend and return - fab place to stay

Our stay was good. Alfredo was very nice. The breakfast area was very small and felt a bit claustrophobic. Our room was nice. The hotel is very close to all the sites. An area of improvement for the hotel is communication. I had a hard time getting in touch to arrange transportation. Overall a good stay.

Maison Tritone was perfectly suited within walking distance around many main attractions in Rome. A 5 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The staff and service were excellent. The breakfast had a nice variety and everything was fresh. The rooms were large, very clean with comfortable beds. I highly recommend Maidon Tritone!

This is a small (one floor) hotel run by a family who are excellent hosts. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are all marble, with great showers. There is a lovely breakfast buffet and wonderful coffee. The hotel location is fantastic and walkable to major sites; the subway station is very close as well. Highly recommend!

A true delight!
I highly recommend this hotel. We were greeted by our host Alfredo as soon as we stepped out of our taxi. He took our bags upstairs. It was very early in the morning so our room was not yet ready. In the mean time we were offered coffee and croissants even though the breakfast room was already closed. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The following day our breakfast was beautiful. It had an array of fruits, meats, cheeses and of course american latte! Afredo was so nice and helpful, intuitively offering just what we needed.

I don’t write much reviews. However, the stay was really nice. The hotel is managed by family. The entire family is super nice. The rooms were very pretty and spacious. The breakfast bar was really nice as well. We shall return again. Just one feedback: if they could have some take away breakfast for early risers that would be great! Overall, highly recommend for this hotel for families either kids. Felt secured and safe within and around in the neighborhood.

Very nice place to stay in Rome
Maison Tritone has very friendly staff, room is clean, location is ideal, almost walking distance to all attractions, shopping and some good restaurants around, Metro is only 2 minutes of walk. I give room a 4 star because it is a little noisy at night due to car traffic downstairs. The lift is very small. Breakfast is very nice with all kinds of fruits and fresh juice.

The Madison Tritone is an incredible surprise. When you first walk to the entrance from The street you may feel and think is this truly a hotel. The answer is on the second floor and yes it is a boutique hotel, with new spacious and very clean rooms the breakfast is over the top. The best part is you are dealing with the owners that are more than happy to assist you in recommending restaurants, tours etc. will definitely return to Rome and stay at the perfectly located hotel that is walking distance to most Roman historic structures.

The room was luxurious and the cleanliness was impeccable. Each day housekeeping did a deep clean. Breakfast was included and was presented beautifully with great service. Fresh squeezed juice - orange/pommegranite mix was delicious! It is not 24 hour front desk service but the staff was always reachable. Felt very safe.

Alfredo was very kind and helpful during our stay. All the staff was nice. Great rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent...the best setup of the three different hotels we stayed at. They're Ferrari-class 30-different-types-of-coffee machine made the best cappuccinos! Convenient location.
