Room very dark , had to always have lights on and bathroom could have been cleaner. Location however was good but there is a lot of construction going on nearby so with that and the noisy air con not much chance of good night's sleep .

very close to the Colosseum, minutes at the most, plenty of restaurants right outside, friendly staff and excellent service. Room is pleasing, well maintained, has all the right amenities and has old world charm, but might be due for a facelift to bring it closer to 2019 (tbh, we liked the previous era decor!). While the bathroom was well equipped, modern, and 100% functioning , a minor gripe is 1. the large step up from the room to the bathroom (needs a stair, really) and 2. the very small space ( by most standards). Nevertheless, we would love to stay here again if we came back to Rome.

Location was ideal - right near and between the manor attractions, and on a street with great small eat-in places. Our only problem with the hotel was our own personal complication: we where 5 people: putting a 5th bed into our room was a stretch. We hardly had any space to walk around the beds. But not a deal-breaker, we where walking a lot and not spending much time in the room.

Excellent hotel to stay at whilst exploring Rome. Superb location within Ancient Rome.....few minutes walk from Colosseum & Forum plus random dream views of the Colosseum whilst walking through streets of Monti! Close to several excellent restaurants & a superb gelato place (Flor) literally across the road. Very clean hotel, daily housekeeping, child friendly & a very useful lift. This is a gem of a hotel run by the lovely Mary & her staff. We look forward to staying there again on our future trips to Rome.

A bit from from pictures/expectations.
So, this happened to be a last minute booking for me but I wished I did slightly a bit more research beforehand. The condition of the room was far from the pictures, the wifi was very cracky, and it had a LOT of noise during the daytime that we could not nap right away after getting in from the airport. Aside from the friendly staff that tried their best to help us, the products offered was a bit hard to work with. If you’re on a tight budget and just need a quick place to crash, this would be it.

Great hotel, nothing to complain really. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned everyday to a great standard. There is air-condition and a television set. The lift fits only four people and the hotel is on the third floor.

Hotel staff was friendly, if your willing to walk 2 miles you can see every attraction in Rome from this location. Rooms are small and dated but that’s what you get in Rome for a value. I would stay again for the location and price less than $100

Soo close to Colosseum and other ruins/monuments. Very close to good restaurants. Hotel itself very nice. Private bathroom, breakfast (croissant and coffee) included. You get some street noise at night but it wasn't too bad.

We Were Made To Feel Unsafe
Hotel Labelle came out on Hotels.com as a search result for hotels with a 24-HOUR FRONT DESK, which is something important to me. On May 1, 2017, at 630 am, my daughter and I arrived at Hotel Labelle. The hotel is located within a building that houses other residents and establishments. My daughter and I were ringing the respective bell for Hotel Labelle for almost an hour - to no avail! As a matter of fact, it was another hotel, located in the same premises, that buzzed us in instead. Upon reaching the hotel's main door on the 3rd floor, it took a good 15 - 20 minutes of intermittently ringing their door bell and knocking on their door before someone's voice came over the speaker. As I was greeting him, "Good morning. I am very sorry for the inconvenience but..." I was abruptly interrupted by a man ANGRILY and AGGRESIVELY SHOUTING at me! Yet I held my tongue for I was in the presence of my daughter. Apparently, their 24-HOUR FRONT DESK CLAIM is only in effect IF THEY WERE INFORMED OF THE NEED AHEAD OF TIME. Aside from the obvious peculiarity of this arrangement, this requirement was NOT COMMUNICATED to me by either Hotel Labelle nor Hotels.com prior to our arrival. Instead, it was SCREAMED at me from the speaker and, again, in person when said man opened the door for us, half-dressed! His RUDENESS made us feel so unsafe that my daughter, ill as she was, and I left to find ourselves another hotel. I strongly discourage everyone from staying at Hotel Labelle.

Nice hotel for the price, very friendly staff, excellent location just a couple of hundred of feet from the Forum surrounded by good restaurants, gelaterias, and cafes. About a 10 minute walk from Termini station, and 5 minutes or less to either Cavour or Coloseo metro stations. Would stay again!

Best hotel we stayed at during our European travels! Spacious room and close to some main attractions. Clran and comfortable. Only down side was the other guests making noise in the hall after midnight as it echos with the high ceilings.

The room was spacious and very clean and decorated in a way that reflected the old European culture. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is on the third floor and the lift was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

I booked after reading glowing reviews, which I can't believe. The place is a complete dump. Don't get me wrong, I can stay at motel 6 and be perfectly happy. Here are my issues, hard to find, when I opened the window literally fell off, the converted the shower to the toilet and left the old plumbing, so you have a shower valve next to the toilet. Speaking of the shower, the doors were broken and I couldn't get in. The bed was awful. The street noise kept me up until 2:00am. There are enter options, ignore the ratings, they are bogus. This isn't a ace you would take your wife or kids.

Dear Customer, We are sorry that you had these problems with us, but we want to explain you our point of view: 1) Hotel Labelle is positioned on Via Cavour, the street from Termini Station to the Imperial Fora. At Termini Station arrive all the transports of the city and from there you had to go straight, but maybe this was the first time in Rome and you don’t knew that. 2) The window open in 2 different ways: one of these is just at the top of it. 3) We have soundproof windows, but of course we are in the city center, so it can be noise. 4) The valve you saw, was not of the shower but needs to operate the bidet. 5) The shower box are sliding, so it could happen that the doors are out from the runner. 6) Our beds have orthopedic mattress. Honest review ... Fantastic hotel!
This is a 3 star hotel and with that said we can't thank the staff and the manager enough! We stayed for 3 nights and he was very accommodating, helpful and extremely pleasant. Literally a 5 min walk from the Colosseum. Easy to get to from Train station. We were in room 207 which was very spacious for a family of 4. Thank you so much to Hotel Labelle for a great stay! Definitely value for money.

You get what you pay for...
Building is quite warm in the August summers of Rome. Air conditioning is minimal and multiple fans are necessary. Staff was quite accommodating, as our room had an issue with the toilet not flushing properly. Instead of making us wait for repairs, we were offered an upgraded room (with better A/C) at no charge. The staff also held our bags before check-in and after check-out, so that we could see the sites of Rome. Hotel is not expensive for the area, so keep expectations in check. Room size and cleanliness was adequate. Very close to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill. Great eateries nearby, as well.

Dear Customer, I’m really sorry to read this review because we have done all to make your stay comfortable. Because of the problem in the toilet, before your arrive we have called the plumber who arrive too late and we have gave you a triple room, also if you have booked a double room and in the end I don’t make you pay the late check out (€40). Fans are necessary in some room cause, also if there is the air conditioning, this rooms are too big and this summer is too warm. Amazing location with amazing staff
The hotel was in the perfect location, 2 minute walk to the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill, right next door to the Coliseum. The staff was amazing and friendly. Hotel was maintained clean at all times, felt safe and secure. Well definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.
