The hotel was beautiful and grand in an old world elegance. The staff was gracious from the first Bonjorno in the morning to bonasera at night. The restaurant next to the hotel served the most delicious food. I would stay here again

Positive : Due to our flight delay, we arrived at the hotel at 1 am. The hotel was dependable and helpful in communicating with the shuttle service to accommodate our late arrival. It was so great that this hotel had airport pick up shuttle service. Staff are professional and reliable except for our first night ( see below comments). The breakfast buffet staff Doroty was sweet, attentive and welcoming everyday. The breakfast was excellent with great services. Negative: on our first night, our bathroom had hair all over the counter and even on the towels so we couldn't take shower because we didn't want to use the towels. When I called the front desk and mentioned about the hair and how we couldn't use the towels, his response was" Really? The cleaning staff usually does good job cleaning" When we asked if we can get the fresh set of towels, his response was " not today, tomorrow "

The hotel was very nice, however unfortunately the staff was not very helpful, two receptionist’s were standing outside as we tried to carry our luggage up their stairs without helping, and walked past us. We asked for recommendations and they could not offer any. They were able to store luggage and call a cab.
