The hotel was in a good location. We had 4 rooms. The suite was nice. The other rooms had very small bathrooms and one room was in need of renovation. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and the breakfast were great.

Nice hotel and good location.
We were pleased we could check in early. Our room a was a good size, clean and well presented. The room specification on our booking confirmation stated we had a bath, which I was looking forward to, we had a shower only. I did query this with reception and was told that only superior rooms have a bath. No superior rooms available. 😤 The 'missing' bath was a big disappointment to me as I particularly looked for this when selecting our hotel. The breakfast was OK, it was buffet continental selection. The scrambled eggs were actually hard boiled eggs mashed up. The air con was ok but could not be controlled within the room. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Roma Terminal and about 20 minute from Trevi Fountain. I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely staff and a nice stay in a great location.
Lovely staff and a nice stay. Great location and great value. Only a couple of issues, the shower in the bathroom wasn't great, not adjustable and sometimes water leaked onto the floor in the corner. Breakfast was only okay, servers didn't offer coffee and had to ask them. Cleaners only gave us shampoo.

Very sweaty nights
Hotel did not turn on AC in rooms in mid May. They said they don’t turn on until June 1st. Room was 80’s at night, couldn’t sleep. No fans. Bed was soaking wet from sweat each morning.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Rome. It is within walking distance of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Dei Popola, and so much more. There is a cafe just down the street, Al Viminale, that serves the best, most authentic italian food that we experienced during our trip. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the hotel itself. The AC in our room never cooled well. It turns out that every room was equally as balmy as we had friends on the other side of the building with the same issue. This forced us to sleep with the windows open in order to cool the room off which impeded our sleep due to the night-life in the surrounding areas. We were never issued a menu of spa services, and breakfast was sub-par and often too crowded for the amount of people trying to partake. If we come to Rome again, we would most definitely stay in the same area, but we would opt for a different hotel.

Lovely quiet hotel
Lovely quiet hotel approx 15 mins slow walk to the centre. Lovely base to set out from everyday. Reception staff were helpful when asked about anything. Breakfast staff were very courteous and the breakfast was as expected.

location was good. staff were friendly. but facilities were disappointing. the buffet breakfast had cold scrambled eggs, toaster was not working throughout our stay so bread was cold. felt cheated as hotel website said the spa was free to use for guests but they made us pay for a bath kit at 10euros per person and entry was not allowed without the bath kit although we had our own swim gear with us, so effectively it was not a free entry to use the spa. there was no kettle in the room and when i asked the staff they said all kettle are being used in other rooms there was a strike at the airport resulting in our morning flight being delayed by 5 hours, so we requested for a late checkout but it was declined. rather disappointed as it was something beyond our control and the hotel was not full.

Two of the girls at reception were very nice and helpful however the majority of them were very rude and they had a really bad attitude problem if you asked them a question, everything just seemed too much of a hassle. They really need to work on their customer service skills as they are clearly in the wrong job. The cleanliness around the hotel was good however the bathroom was never cleaned properly during our 3 night stay. This hotel was adequate for a short stay but would not return

Cute little hotel
The location is very good. Staff are very nice and do their best to help you. Our rooms were pretty good size and had everything. My main issue was that there is some problem w/ how the hotel is being run, some simple things seem to take a lot of back and forth to resolve, even though the staff seem to be genuinely trying to help you. I hope management can figure out how to empower their employees to resolve those things more easily.

Classy hotel friendly staff
Hotel was very clean, especially the rooms, classic design, eri comfortable bed. One thing stands out in particular that I liked was how quiet the corridors and rooms were, there were other guests of course but it wasn’t noisy. Breakfast election was ideal; staff were attentive there and at the front desk.

The position of the hotel was good as we could walk to so many of the sights. The bedding was not clean. One sheet had a blood stain on it. The bath towels had holes in them and heavy stains. I took one of the bath towels to reception to complain. The rubbish bin in the room was not emptied all week. There was a leak under the bath which when we complained about it we were told it had been seen to. There was a puddle of water on the bathroom floor all week. This also meant our bathroom floor was not washed all week. This was our 50th wedding anniversary and we asked if the receptionist could suggest a restaurant for a meal. We were told that as there was a demonstration against plastics in the city the next day that all the places were full. She claimed that she had already tried to find a place for another couple. According to the news on the television the demonstration was by students. How many students can afford to go to good restaurants? This receptionist was on in the evenings and was not helpful. This hotel was rated 4 star. It did not deserve that rating. We were most disappointed in the hotel.

Rooms were extremely small (much more so than expressed in photos). It was difficult to get the front desk to help secure cabs (or check in for that matter). The equipment in the fitness center was oddly designed and essentially unusable.

The service and the receptionists were incredible! The problem I had with the property is that the AC didn't work for the first 4 nights of my 7 night stay. And the wifi did not work for several days.

Great location and very quiet far from tourist. Barberini is a 2 minute walk. Very good breakfast buffet included Has a SPA for just 10€ per person
