There is no elevator and the building has 3 or 4 floors, so don't go there if you have luggage!

Mehrere Email an das Hotel vor Ankunft wegen CheckIN und ZTL wurden einfach nicht beantwortet CheckIn sehr schwierig da der Rezeptionist gar kein! englisch konnte, trotz google übersetzer und vorlegen eines Fotos vom Verkehrsschild bekam ich Falschinfo das ich dort Parken dürfe, was mir jedoch eine Strafe gebracht hätte... 5 surrende und klappernde Klimaanlagen direkt über der Balkontüre und einer schlecht Isolierenden Türe machen das Schlafen praktisch unmöglich. Wurden auf Italienisch angeschrien (Frechheit) weil wir den Zimmerschlüssel mit nach Draußen nehmen wollten (bis zum Glück ein Gast der grade eincheckte Dolmetschte) Ebenso war es nicht immer einfach das Hotel zu verlassen! (FLUCHTWEG) oder zu betreten da die Türe nur von dem Rezeptionist per Knopfdruck geöffnet werden konnte ( und wenn der nicht auf seinen Platz war musste man eben warten ( Gott sei dank hat es im Hotel nicht gebrannt da man sonst nicht flüchten hätte können! ) Handtücher wie Geschirrtücher (rau, dünn, nicht saugfähig), Zimmer wurde in den zwei Nächten nicht gereinigt, daher auch kein neues ToilettenPapier etc. einzige Positiv war ein großer Kühlschrank im Zimmer wenn man sich essen kaufte. Beim CheckOut wollte der Rezeptionist dann nochmals Geld, konnte aber nicht erklären wofür (wieder ein Gast übersetzet das es sich scheinbar um die Citytax handelte - schön aber wenn er es nicht sagen kann auch blöd wenn man immer auf den Zufall der Anwesenheit von zweisprachigen Gästen angewiesen ist)

Achtung kein Englisch! Nie wieder!

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS HOTEL with 5 floors !!!! Why is this not mentioned in the listing anywhere? Is this a deliberate omission to mislead customers? We arrived with 2 suitcases and were allotted room on 4th floor! And the old man in charge couldn't/wouldn't help us to carry the luggage up. And would not give us a room on a lower floor. He couldn't speak English at all (not his fault but I would think for a hotel with international customers they should at least make an effort to hire someone who can speak English). He also gave us the wrong password for wifi, he wrote it down in a piece of paper! in mixed-case, turned out it was all lower-case! Waste of almost 30 minutes while I tried different combinations! The rooms were clean, The infrastructure is bad. Old style locks would jam up. We couldn't lock the door from the inside so magically a room became available on the second floor. I would not recommend this hotel ...maybe if you have very light hand luggage AND are able to climb 4 or 5 floors.

Personale sempre gentile e disponibile, colazione non male. Zona relativamente tranquilla anche se di popolazione prevalentemente straniera. La maggiore pecca risiede nella mancata pulizia generale del bagno e della stanza, che per gli standard degli hotel romani risulta essere davvero bassa.

su locacion es en un barrio no muy amigable por la noche, aunque esta cerca de la terminal de buces. estuve en 2 cuartos ambos tenian un fuerte olor a cigarillo que no dejaba dormir. baño relativamente limpio, con algo de moho y muy pequeño. por el precio esta bien para pasar la noche, pero no lo recomiendo para nada. its location is in a neighborhood not very friendly at night, although it is close to the bus terminal. I was in 2 rooms both had a strong cigarette smell that did not let sleep. relatively clean bathroom, with some mold and very small. for the price it's fine to spend the night, but I do not recommend it at all.

Given the price point, it was reasonable and the staff was extremely pleasant. That said, the room wasn't changed, the trash wasn't taken out and the bed wasn't made for three days. The neighborhood wasn't great at night and it's a little scary walking alone at night. If you are a tourist, I recommend being closer to the western side of Termini, closer to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. If you are looking for something cheap and confident walking around the city alone, it may be a good fit.

Hotel muito bem localizado, perto de estação de metrô e perto da estação Termini (estação de metrô, ônibus e trem), quarto simples mas limpo, grande e organizado. Atendentes que podem ajudar. Para vc que não precisa de muito conforto e quer ficar bem localizado para transporte eu recomendo.

Ingezakt bed, brandgaten in dekens en matras terwijl ik een niet rokers kamer had, lekkende airconditioning,geen WiFi geen minibar, stoffig,oud en vervallen, nachtlamp zonder lamp, slecht personeel totaal niet vriendelijk en geen bar of lounge dus omschrijving klopt ook niet.

Personal dispuesto y muy amable. Hotel pésimo

El recibimiento de la gente del hotel fue amabilísima. Nos ayudaron en todo, con todo tipo de explicaciones. Pero el hotel necesita un meneo. Las habitaciones son incómodas, con camas de cuando Franco era corneta. El baño estaba sucio. Como datos positivos, el wifi funcionaba excelentemente, y la nevera también. Nunca he oído tanto ruido en un hotel. Ahora bien, el precio pagado era mínimo, así que más o menos nos esperábamos lo que encontramos. La zona junto a Termini es prescindible. Se antoja peligrosa. Aparte, estábamos en un segundo piso, que era un tercero real. Y no había ascensor.

Very basic hotel ideal for those on a budget

This is a very basic hotel ideal for those not expecting any frills. The room was clean and a very nice size and the staff were very friendly. But be aware there are 5 floors and no lift and the included breakfast is a voucher for a coffee and pastry at a cafe round the corner.

Close to many things

This hotel started off a little rocky with checkin. But things were quickly fixed. It is not a grand hotel but is ok for being in the city center close to many things. Termini train and bus station are within walking distance along with the colosseum and other small shops and diners. Victoria park is also a short walk from the hotel. It's a great place to be close to a lot of things but not very fancy and such.

Uhygejnisk hotel

Vil aldrig anbefale Hotel Bixio til nogen. Personalet er uvenligt og forstår ikke engelsk. Værelset stank af røg og var møg beskidt - decideret klamt. Badeværelset var småt og ikke særlig komfortabelt. Rengøring var der intet af. Det var ganske uhyejnisk og klamt. Da vi skulle gå påstod receptionisten vi ikke havde betalt for opholdet, hvilket vi absolut havde gjort - og havde endda medbragt en kvittering. Han var uforskammet, råbte af os og kommunikationen var mangelfuld grundet han ikke kunne engelsk - hverken tale eller forstå. Rom er uden tvivl en fantastisk by, men vælg aldrig Hotel Bixio, heller ikke selvom det er billigt.

Stygt ytslitt hotell uten service.

Dårlig opplevelse. Føste inntrykket var dårlig. Det hang gufne typer utenfor inngangen. mannen i resepsjonen var ikke hyggelig og snakket ikke engelsk. Det stinket røyk og takhøyden i resepsjonen var under to meter. Møblene var utslitte.

Ottima posizione ma pulizia zero

L'hotel si trova in una zona ottima per visitare.i punti d'interesse,ben fornita peccato per l'arredamento, la pulizia generale che lasciavano a desiderare. IL fatto che sia un hotel da 1 stella,non implica la mancanza di pulizie generali o le condizioni della Camera in cui versa. Ci siamo lo stesso adeguati al contesto.

Worse hotel I have ever stayed at!

Start at the beginning of the experience. The hotel is located in a bad part of the city. Walking at night (keep in mind I hold a karate black belt and my son is 22) was frightening. The staff spoke no English and yelled Italian at me thinking it would help. The room was clean but very worn out. The blanket was no thicker than the sheet. The shower had caulking, rust and mold. Some of the lights were missing. We stayed two nights but our room was never cleaned.

Moyen mais bon rapport qualité/prix

Hôtel bien situé : à 10 min de la gare et à 5 min à pied du métro. Chambre calme et spacieuse : avec lit en 160 cm, climatisation, SDB, et frigo. Draps et serviettes changés tous les jours. Ménage un peu léger... Pas d'ascenseur. Le petit-déjeuner se prend dans un café juste à côté mais avec seulement droit à une boisson chaude et une viennoiserie simple. Bref il est clair que ce n'est pas un 4 * grand luxe mais si on n'est pas trop tatillon ça peut faire un hôtel "correct" avec une SDB et WC privés (pas si évident en Italie !!) à un prix tout à fait convenable. Ce n'est pas mon idéal mais ça m'a permis de passer 10 jours en Italie de façon abordable... (car autres frais : repas, visites, transports...!!!!) et d'en garder un super souvenir. :) NB : je déconseille aux familles

kleines Hotel Zentral gelegen

Hotelpersonal sprach nur italienisch. Zimmerausstattung war sehr alt und es war alles nicht sehr sauber. Die Lage nicht weit vom HBF, wo alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel abfahren, ist sehr gut. Für eine einfache Übernachtung reicht es.
