Fenix is my favourite hotel in Rome on my 7th visit….family/women owned, friendly staff with great attitude, nice neighbourhood near 2 metro stations, or walk if you like. Elegant interiors, comfy bed, and breakfast with the perfect caffè latte before 11a ;)

Great selection at breakfast including hot foods like scrambled eggs and bacon. Lots of pastries, cereals, fruit salad, cold cuts, and cheeses. Something for everyone! Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the courtyard garden is a lovely oasis.

Location was ideal for exploring Rome with plenty of bus routes within walking distance to the hotel. Hotel was nice, slightly dated but expected for Italy, also air con was more like a vent so didn’t always feel most cold. Room was big and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great every morning with a big selection. Staff always greeting and helpful. Would recommend!

Travelled with my wife and 2 children, and stayed in the junior suite. It was great value for money, plenty of space with 2 made up (comfortable) single beds and in our room a bonus of 2 toilets! Breakfast had a great variety and to top off was only 7-10 minutes from 2 different metro stations for quick access to the centre. Parking was also secure, gated off underground)
