The location is excellence, just in front of Santa Maria Maggiore, the parking is included and it is also good and very close to the hotel. The property is old as everything in Rome, but it doesn’t justify the conditions of the room carpets, walls, the bathroom shower was not good at all. Toilet was not in good condition, In general the hotel needs better maintenance. The breakfast was very simple.

I’m not given this property 4-stars because they have zero customer service support. Horrible breakfast no coffee. They were out of coffee at 7 am and they told us they will get it from another hotel. Everyone was disappointed. Location was good but everything was not. No coffee!!!

This property is very tired and a bit musty. The beds were very uncomfortable and the breakfast was terrible. However the location is excellent and the historical features of the hotel are interesting. The location though was very central.

Overall a good property in the heart of Rome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit of age and a little more upkeep could go a long way. Breakfast buffet also could use a little love, but overall I return to this hotel without a doubt.

Beautiful historic building. Would absolutely stay here again, but not in the summer. The air conditioning does not keep up, we had to open the window to try and stay cool at night. Otherwise it's a really great hotel. The staff was welcoming, considerate and helpful.

10 minute walk with a rolling suitcase from Rome Termini train station. It is great old building. The stairs heading up from the 2nd to 4th floors are a beautiful marble. Our room was very nice and very quiet. Slept like a baby. The gentleman at the front desk were great. Breakfast was included. Very nice continental style.

Wonderful place to stay and take in all the views. Great balcony room to enjoy the city of Rome's busy streets, sights, people watch everything. The hotel inside has many little places to wonder around and get lost in old Italian painted ceilings, courtyard, a beautiful chapel on the 3 floor. The staff is great especially Pereira, went above and beyond to help make our trip even better.

Handy location for the train station and it's better than sleeping on the street. However the staff were rude, the breakfast was terrible, this even included an offering of brown liquid that was apparently coffee. In the room the air conditioning blew with less gusto than an asthmatic fly and the double bed was in fact two hard single beds of differing heights. The attention to detail extended to the electrical sockets, one of which was detached from the wall. The bathroom had interesting features such as the shower door being unattached and the cold tap providing the hot water. The trip was made more memorable by the requirements to take two separate lifts to the room, the second of which was either full of rubbish or linen.

This hotel was AMAZING! The history associated with it is incredible. Located within a short walk to the Termini Station. Lots a good restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the Colosseum. The rooms were huge and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. If I make it back to Rome I will stay here again.
