Staying with Chhotaram and his family was a phenomenal experience. We were able to cook, play, eat, dress, and laugh in such an authentic setting. You truly are welcomed and treated as part of the family. While we were only able to stay for a single night, it was the most fulfilling experience we could have imagined - a village safari, desert sunset, amazing food and company. For anyone looking for an unforgettable time in India, this should be your first choice!

I travel a lot. This is simply the best hotel I have stayed at. An hour out of Jodpur in rural Rajastan, run by the noble Johit family. The service is out of this world and the food even better. If you want to spoil yourself in an oasis of calm in hectic India this is the spot for you. Simply a fantastic place.

If you have the chance and the budget to stay here you absolutely should - the building is astonishing in scale and intricacy. You can't get a full feel for it just by visiting for dinner or to the museum. Service is excellent, there were a few issues in the restaurant like bringing the wrong drinks etc but all minor and swiftly resolved.

This was fascinating and we loved our stay. Amit was incredibly helpful even though he was suffering with a bad cold and told us lots about the Bishnoi way of life. We had the jeep safari and saw camels, black buck, peacocks, a turtle, a chameleon, an eagle, etc etc! Food was excellent and service very good. A hotel with a traditional atmosphere located in the narrow alleys of Jodhpur. I was able to reach the hotel without worry thanks to the staff, who answered my questions via WhatsApp beforehand—advising me to arrive by auto-rickshaw due to the narrow streets and letting me know the going rates. During my stay, they also recommended cafes and restaurants, which really enhanced my sightseeing experience in Jodhpur. Thank you.。

Lovely hotel, close to the airport but slightly out of Jodhpur. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and I was given my room immediately even though I arrived well before check in time. The restaurant is excellent with a huge variety of à la carte options as well as a good buffet option.
