Before staying I had great expectations as I was spending over 250 CAD $ a night per room and I booked two rooms for two families.
I have big list of disappointments from this place.
#1 check in did not go smooth, before check in I travelled for 7 hours(Jaipur to Jodhpur) with two families.
Hotel required visa copy and until that time kids were not even asked for water. It took 50 minutes to complete check in.
Staff was under trained and lack of professionalism.
#2 carpet of the room were filthy, definitely hotel’s star rating should have changed. There was food particles and bugs in the carpet. Despite of complaining no corrective actions taken. Local Manager didn’t not bother to respond.
Hotel is famous for 11 acre of property and wedding venue so staff and department manager were not interested attending individual guests.
#3 Cold food served during breakfast.
#4 I asked to change temperature because of cold in December, temperature panel locked by system so guests can not adjust temperature. One of staff confirmed there is no heating system which is big big question mark for such big name of hotel.
#5 I stayed for two nights and booked two rooms so asked blankets for each room. No blanket given on first night. Finally after number of times complaining we were given blankets.
Prior to Jodhpur we stayed at Trident Jaipur during our vacation at half price what Jodhpur charged. All facilities food and services were outstanding by Oberoi group.
