"unbelievably great for your family. The kids pool is so safe; knee depth, rubber type, non slip flooring which was incredible! never seen any rubbish or dog mess at any point during our 9nights which was shocking because any self catering holiday in the uk we’ve been to is usually covered in filth. Activities, restaurants, and the supermarket were really good prices, like €12 for a full day of bike hire and €11 for a large pizza. "Amazing property - the go to hotel for flying out of Verona. Awesome everything: A/C, comfortable beds, awesome staff, good restaurant, easy transportation to terminal, amazing pool to cool off in, brand new everything. Relaxed and ready to travel after staying here."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Porto Azzuro at the end of June. The hotel is beautifully maintained and run extremely well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always happy to help. Service at reception and the bar was always good with a wide selection of drinks, cocktails, fancy ice creams, snacks and meals. We had a double with balcony room on the third floor facing the garden/road. We never heard any noise, the room was super quiet. Bed was comfy enough.The room itself was quite spacious, good wardrobe space. No drawers apart from one bedside drawer. The bathroom was big and very clean and fairly modern. One criticism is the size of the shower cubicle, it was very small and the shower was totally in the wrong place. There wasn't much room behind so I frequently hit my arms on the cubicle sides! A few other things that need to be added to the rooms - a glass for toothbrush/toothpaste, there were paper cups - very odd! A bin in the room is needed. We struggled with the tiny bathroom bin. Also tissues, we bought our own from the local supermarket. Breakfast was fantastic, so much to choose from and beautifully presented. I couldn't fault it! The staff are lovely too. The swimming pool is a really good size and a massive bonus for our stay as it was 37° and we needed it. The sunbeds are looking tired and a bit grubby and a lot of the parasols were no longer working. But the pool and pool area are well maintained. The bus stop to go into Sirmione is opposite the hotel."

"Was upgraded to a suite with a balcony and it was fantastic other than the Aircon could not cool the room down and all reception could offer was a separate plug in fan. In the morning going to the bathroom we realised that the mirror is heated and was very hot and may have been to blame for the heating of the room. The pool,sauna and steam room was a nice touch to relax in and the airport shuttle really helpful. Restaurants was ok for dinner better for breakfast with the prices reasonably set. On the whole good for the night either after arriving in Verona or before flying out or a convention / business trip Would I use again yes but keep the bathroom door closed."
