"Booked thru Hotels.com because it was reasonably priced. Was delighted with hotel, staff, room and breakfast. Highly recommend. Beach front and has indoor and outdoor pool. Already looking forward to next trip to Kitty Hawk!!!!"

"This was a solid choice for us for our short stay in The Outer Banks with our dog. The hotel has some visible wear, if you're expecting fancy and new you will be disappointed. However, renovations appear to be in process and the place has serious potential! Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and gave some excellent recommendations of local places to check out (we especially loved American Pie across the street!). Location is excellent and there are plenty of places within walking distance. We greatly appreciated the amenities with the beach access, free breakfast, and the fenced dog area. We did have a small problem with our room during our stay, but staff took care of it as soon as the issue was brought to their attention. With it being a dog friendly place, there are a lot of other dogs. Our dog is fairly non-reactive to other dogs so it was not an issue for us, but be aware if your dog is easily stressed by other dogs and their noises. Overall, a great choice for us and we'd return if we traveled back to the area!"
