"A little confusing in that the hotel is named 'Kita Hotel' on Expedia but at the hotel it is named the 'Hotel Du Nord' - Google Maps though has both names. The public areas look a little dated but the room l had was very comfortable (best sleep l've had in a long time) and spotlessly clean. Hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from Morioka station so long as you are travelling with minimal luggage. "

"Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Room is ordinary but it's generally clean and tidy. Breakfast is very nice with lots of food variety and much local produces are included. One down side of hotel is that it doesn't have under cover and secure parking with only limited numbers of street spaces available."
