We were recommended the hotel from friends of the owner, so we had excellent treatment from the friendly staff. We were there for trekking and outdoor activities (Dewa Adventures), so we didn't experience much of Rishikesh's spiritual attractions, but we enjoyed the ayurvedic treatments at the in house spa, and the yoga facilities with free morning classes are nice. The organic cafe next door and the in house Indian restaurant have high standards of hygiene, the breakfast is a combination of Indian and international; NB all vegetarian. While it's not a luxury hotel, the prices are reasonable, and the amenities, including a pool, are pleasant. Easy 15 minute walk to town (Laxman Jhula bridge), but very quiet and peaceful at night. Wifi could be stronger/more reliable on the 3rd floor.
