"The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, tea & coffee making facilities were good, the check in staff were very helpful. The room needed a little TLC but was ok. The leisure centre was great, we used tbe gym, steam room, sauna, ice cave, jacuzzi and swimming pool everyday. We would return and stay again"

Liked the cheap drinks in an afternoon. Nice view of the sea from bedroom , shame about the rubbish outside the window. Huge comfortable bed , the bathroom door kept sticking . Kettle and coffee machine supplied but there was no socket near them ."

The shower was hot. The hotel was in an quiet location, convenient for travelling to York or any part of North Yorkshire. Would recommend."

"Good accommodation in the annex but be aware the stairs are steep and narrow to the upstairs rooms. There is very limited parking for 5 cars, so we had to park on the street during our 3 night stay. We ate dinner in the hotel once during our stay, which was average. We had breakfast once during our stay which was good but not outstanding. This hotel is part of a small chain, and having stayed in several of the other hotels in the chain I’d say this hotel is slightly below the quality I’ve experienced in the other properties."
