"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "

Two very large 24 hour car parks are five minutes walk away. All communication was great, check in was super easy and the apartment was exactly as expected. "We had a lovely over night stay in a superior room on the 4th floor - room 420. We used the leisure facilities which were very good. Nice Spacious room. Can’t complain for the price we paid I guess. A bit of constructive criticism for the hotel to bear in mind: 1) please leave more than 2 milk portions. We only had two between us. We would have loved a few more teas and coffees but didn’t want to chase around for milk. 2) the room was warm but when turned on, the aircon was very loud, we did loose some sleep."
