"We stayed for 1 night in a family room, the pub is conveniently situated just off the market place. All of the staff that we encountered were lovely and were very helpful. I asked if we could check in early as we had a booking at Forbidden Corner and the gentleman was more than happy to accommodate this request. The room, although old was very bright and spacious with a double and a single bed, each with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries which was a pleasure surprise. There was also a kettle and drinks tray and plenty of space for clothing. The ensuite although old was perfectly acceptable with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent with cereals, juices, tea and coffee, freshly cooked full English breakfast and toast. All in all, for the price which we paid The Turf was excellent value for money, and we will be back!"
