"I only stayed for one night on a cross country trip. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The hot water was plentiful. I enjoyed a nice walk and beautiful sunset. I watched the sun rise from the kitchen table the next morning. It was cozy and comfortable. I liked it so much I booked a cottage for my return trip."

"Clean room, comfy beds. Good amount of space. Only downfall was the coffee machine was tiny and the pot handle wasnโ€™t situated on the pot properly. There were no facecloths in the bathroom and the shower refused to give hot water, despite leaving it running for over 5 minutes!"

"Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable canoe rentals, beautiful lawn and playground for the kids, and the hosts are so nice, great at communication! This is our second year visiting and we WILL be back!"
